The project entitled “NETWORK BASED MANAGEMENT OF CALIBRATION AND SCHEDULING” is developed for providing computer control/monitoring of calibration status of Test Instruments and Equipment. This system provides the facility to monitor the calibration data and the final test report by the authorized users in the network and it also provides easy handling of data entry and enables the users to get faster and easy access about the status of Test Instrument and Equipment. The main objective of the system is to provide the status of equipment and the validity date of calibration. It is mainly divided into three parts. The first part deals with maintaining the data/information in the databases. The second part deals with the viewing reports and details. The third part deals with the automated test of Equipment. In this system depending upon the user selection the report can be viewed according to the calibrated date.

| This project illustrates the service carried out by the client to their customers. The company Ericsson is manufacturing communication equipments and sells through the agents. This project consists 2 Core Modules such as Admin and User. It has 4 supporting modules such as Technical Team-1(Marketing), Help Desk, Technical Team-2 and Logistic Department. Ericsson sales equipments through agents (Clients).If equipment does not work Customer make a call to the Client, then Client raises the Service Docket Report(SDR) and checks whether equipment is under warranty or not. If not, on the advice of Customer, Client sends the quotation either one-year or one time service charge. Technicians try to solve the problem through either office modem or at the site. If problem not solved, he raises the Local Problem Escalation Form (LPEF) to ensure equipment to work. If equipment did not work problem will be escalated to Erricssion through MRN and then Logistic Department delivers goods with DOD and GRN to the Client. Developer:
· Involved in capturing and analyzing the client’s requirement.
· Responsible for coding and documentation of the modules.
· Involved in all validations are done as per requirement.
· Responsible for Testing, Bug fixing and Documentation of the assigned modules.
